Pictures posted as attachments don't appear

I have uploaded 6 more pics that are not showing up.
When I go into Attachment Manager (or whatever that link is) and I pick the ones I did already but don't show up it says they are already uploaded.
Didn't get any error when uploading pics and then don't show up

Can u make those pics magically reappear?

my guess is you've peaked your max upload limits....see the "manage attachments" under your User CP and see if there is room left...

I have 443K used with approx 10% green available?
Am I still within my limits -it doesn't indicate.

It lists teh attachments that have not shown on thread/post.
How do I get them to register?

i have read some threads that supposedly have pics there, but there's nothing shown. then the nest reply to it, someone has obviously seen the pic because they comment on it, but it have tries every option on my comp and internent to allow the view and i think i have played with the viewing options on here, but is there any certain options that have to be chosen or any that would not show the pics/attatchments. thanks, ben

billybob, what you are seeing are OLD posts/threads....the forum made a MAJOR software change a few months back, and all old attachments were not carried over....

PM me with the specific thread, I "can" go thru and reupload photos....however, it's a time consuming process, and you better darned well be picky in the threads you beg over....hehehe

Well, it is a good thing that i don't REALLY need to see the attachments. I was just Asking for advice to see if i may have overlooked something, but i didn't know of the MAJOR SOFTWARE CHANGE. so now that i know, i won't wonder why i am not able to see old photos. But thank you for the answer.

i was trying to sound a lil mean without pissing off the administrator, but i just can't pull it off.
thanks for info woody. thought my comp was going to crash from some mystery virus or something. has happened five times within two months. but fixed now, i hope.

If you notice, some of those same threads have some odd "quoting" issues as well...generally, those are the same ones.

I have restored a few threads and their photos, and have most of them on my home hard drive, but it IS unfortunately a long and irritating process to find the photos, upload them manually, then edit and compare each post between the old and new forum software to get them lined up correctly....

...and believe me, I BEGGED the new software creators to fix that issue, but they never did....finally quit asking...
