Hey guys. I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of the Dueler A/T Revo on their cruiser. Preferably either in the size of 275/ 285 or 305.

Also, Do they make the Revo in a 285/70R16 or 305/70R16?

Here are a couple pictures of mine right after I got the tires and the Cruiser was otherwise stock. These are LT285/75R16s.

Check out the SoCal 80's section and the pictures of my white 80 with the hi-lift on the ARB bumper. I'm running 285 Revo's with a 2 1/2" OME Heavy lift. We aired down to 15psi for this trip to explain the sidewalls.

Will the 285 75r16 fit my LX450? I have those michilens on there right now and they are 265/70R16 so I didnt know if a 75 would fit or not. I need ot learn more about htis whole tire size deal.

Nevermind! I figured it all out. And yes, they will fit. The 70 is the distance from teh rim, to the tread. Which means te 75 is a little taller Im guessing? Looks like Im going to be getting the Dueler A/T Revos instead of hte BFG A/T now. My dad seems to think the BFG A/T wont do well in rain and he loves the Revo.

I have had BFGs AT on many of my trucks. Both Highway and 4 wheel drives. I was sold on the them. I always run Bridgestone summer performance tires in my cars, so i gave the Revo a try on my Land Cruiser. The Revos are miles ahead of the BFGs. It drives like a Porsche. these things hold up in the corners and wet well. No niose which is a plus. They grip.

Oh ive had a set of Revos before on a 2wd Tundra. Ive never had the BFG A/T KO though so I was wanting to try those. I have heard your opinion more than once though; people seem to think the Revos are so much better than the all terrains. Well, my decision has been made.

im running the 285 revos. great tire and those S.O.B's are TALL for a 285!

How do the Revo A/Ts and BFG A/Ts compare on the snow and ice?

I have used the Revo in both actually on a 2WD Tundra. In the snow they are great, they dont fill up at all and hold the snow as well as you woudl want it to hold. I drove a 20 minute drive through slush and packed snow in the streets and really did quite well. I could hear the trucks next to me spin their tires out and I was holding the road quite well.

Ice however was not too great. Then again, when theres nothing there for the tire to hold on to, its not gonna hold to anything. Im talking about 3-4 inches of solid ice. Im really not sure there is a tire out there that would have great traction on a giant ice cube. I loved my set though, for the maybe 1 time a year snow and ice in tennessee, these tires suit me fine. :D

I had BFG and now I have Revo's on my 4Runner.
As they say, only studed tire is really good on ice, but if you compare the two
Revo's are way ahead.

The AT Revo is not made in either 285/70R16 or 305/70R16. 285/75R16 is the largest produced in 16" sizes.

I drove through from LA to Edmonton the week after I got the Revos Feb. last year. I went through right the Canadian Rockies. Didn't feel any sliping sliding at all. I hit a patch of ice in the parking for fun, you know us LA type, we don't have ice down here so spin out in the parking lot. It didn't grip if you must know. Really, no problem in the snow at all.

The BFGs that were in my 4wd, toyota truck did pretty well in snow also, Tow a few people out in many ski trips. A little more rop, rop, rop noise on highway.

Jeff
