Awesome weekend!!

It was great to meet all you guys. I will surely tag along with Josh on more of these until I can get a truck of my own (some day). I tried to load some pics here but kept getting some security token error. Here is a link to Snapfish where I loaded the pictures I took.

Below are some of the better photos I took (they pale in comparison to many of those already posted) but you can check out my PhotoBucket page out by clicking HERE.

It really was a great time. Thanks to John for the ride and to everyone for making me feel so welcome!

That last pic just looks like it could be used against us when they want to raise our insurance rates....

I had an awesome time. Very glad to meet everyone. Worth the 3 hour trip from Wilmington. Thanks to all who helped me get my stock 4runner thru and home without any dents. Cant wait to do it again.

NCJeff -

It was great to meet you. How was DIckey Bell? I hated that we had to leave.

PS- Thanks to everyone for the great time and great pictures.

Andrew, very nice meeting you also.

Dickey Bell was very fun, the hill climb right when you turned around was worth the 6 hours on the road. I wish I could have stayed longer.

I got my pics posted here MobileMe Gallery

Feel free to download any of them.

After I got home I realized all the video I took was in compact mode :bang: so it is pretty much useless unless you want to watch it on a cell phone. Next time I will know better.

Had a great time and look forward to the next trip.

Someone on here was up there this weekend also. Figured out who it was.lt1fire. Seen you at Elderado Outpost but was in the wifes GMC. Figured you might think i was kinda strange if i just walked up to you.

Yep it was me, I would never think it was strange to meet another cruiser head you should have come on over. I went up to watch the 4x4 event at the stables and then got in about 3 hours of trail time. Had a couple in a stock wrangler tag along with me because they were going out and checking every water/mud hole with a stick. So most of my time was spent guiding them over rocks and through mud pits. Then a wrangler stalled and sucked some water into its engine on falls damn and held up the trail for about 45 minutes. I did meet a man with a lifted 62 at the outpost as I was leaving and gave him all our information. He might post up sooner or later.

(I saw the fence sections that needed repair on wolfs den, we should set another date to go up for the day and fix them)

so that horrible screeching noise as we approached daniel...........................

disentegrated E-brake shoe retainer, heres whats left

It supposedly is according to my build date of 2/95. The new pin was much shorter as that one has been stretched over time likely leading to its failure. A new pin/spring combo and new shoe and the E brake works better than ever before. The replacement for the larger of the two retainer cups was much smaller in diameter but worked non the less.
