I finally pulled the trigger on a set of new tires for the 80 series. I went with Open Country Toyo M/T's. I was running 33" BFG M/T's before and wanted to keep the same look. So I went with a 285/75R16.

So far I've noticed no rubbing on the stock sagging suspension, and they fill the wheel wells really nicely. I'm sure under some heavy flexing it will rub on the flares. But it's mostly used as a kid taxi (we have 4 of them) and weekend warrior, so it never really gets pushed to its limits.

I was debating on going with A/T's since it's driven on the highway 75% of the time, but after taking these for a drive, I'm really happy I decided on the M/T's. They are incredibly quite for a mud terrain, and ride a lot smoother than I expected.

Everyone always seems to like pics, so I'll post some of them up.

Those look really good. I run 285/75R17's on my 60 wagon, couldn't be happier. I had the center blocks on mine sipped.

I thought about having these siped, but ended up not doing. Do you notice it making a big difference? It's been icy here in Oregon lately, would be nice to have a little extra grip.

My brother is looking for a 60 series right now. I want to help him find one, but I think I'd be jealous of it once he finds one.

Sipping is the like going from not having winter tires to having winter tires. Can't even begin to say how much better it is. Just do it.
