Made up some new door trims for my hj61 last week, wanted to keep them simple, cheap and easy to clean.
I used 3mil masonite,4mtr thin foam,4mtrs black vinyl plus some glue, traced the old ones and dumped the steel bit at the top to keep it simple as i wanted,i wanted to use plastic scrivets in the original holes but couldn't get any long enough,i don't like those original clips, wanted a sturdier fix on the panels so i just ended up putting tech screws into the door frame, later on when im finished mucking around with car, respray etc,i'll just touch up the screws with some black paint, but they;ll be off and on a few times until then.
