Now that is sharp looking man. How about some pics of the build up. Like under the hood and inside and under the tub.

But that looks really nice.

nice rig, I really like the black top. It's a nice touch. Ditto with Darin on the pics of the build-up. Need to show off some of work in progress. Makes all the hard work look even better

the pics before are showing the old carb but I replaced it for an original Jim Chenoweth rebuilt one....the inside floor is cover with hercuiliner and before that the frame and every part has POR15 on it

Here are some more sorry but they are not in order

There are more pics on my website http://www.worldcruisers.net/fjrestopics.html...In all I have over 300 pics but is too much time to post everything. Darin did a good job posting his...I do not think I have the patience...

You are lucky, wish i could get my better half to help me with mine. I will tell you one thing though, it is hard to remember to stop and take pics. I have built alot on this thing without taking any pics. Then i think about it after it is back together and i am not taking it back apart for the pics.

You did a really good job on this thing though man. Can not wait to see it in person someday. And to meet the people that built it.

Yeah if she was not for her I could not have done it alone....she actually wants to get started on another one right away...We are actually moving to a house in the country in the Hillsborough/ Durham area so that we can bring all of the cruisers home and start fixing them one by one.

Darin I look forward to meet you sometime as well...thanks for you nice comments...

Thats cool about the other cruisers. Mine wants me to build her a scout when i am done. I told her she is going to have fun finding all of the parts for it. I do not know where to look and that will be her job to find them.

how true it is about having a supportive better half. For the lack of a better term, my wife is a car guy...lol. She's great. It's not often you can buy your wife cars parts for her birthday and have her be excited. Once we get our cruiser done or close, we will be getting another one too. Great pics though. Really nice work.

Juan - where the hell have you been and when you bringing that thing over so I can see it up close? Great job!!

Chad,
The first night I drove it around I went around Leesville rd to check out a house, And I told my wife to stop by your place. It was around 8:30 and I drove by...I saw your 2 trucks but all the lights were off so I assumed either no one was in or you guys were sleeping already, so decided not to bother you. Give me a call so that we can meet some time.

That's a great build! Looks awesome and it's cool that your other-half likes to turn wrenches. Lucky!!

Man, that's some quality work Juan. Really impressed!!!

Did you end up keeping the MT Bajas you were trying to sell and put them on this 40?

Cool color!

Thanks for the comments guys!! we are proud we did it!!

Cruiser4life I ended up selling them they were for another cruiser but I got good money for them.

Bytheway I was looking at your OBX pictures and the part when you say you got one of them pics on your desktop it motivates you to keep working so that one day you retire....My wife read what you said and then she says.....well...with 2 FJ100's he cant be too far from that...LOL..I was cracking up!!!
