I am running J's with the L shocks...It still has the rake in the front even after the 200lbs. or so weight of Ken's bumper...I bought some 1" Mr. Gasket spacers fro the front to level out the truck, but have not put them on yet...I am thinking of doing the slee caster plates instead of the OME bushings to make up for the bushings plus J springs...
Wow good thing I put my order in for the bumper awhile ago..I am very happy with the bumper..Cant wait to try it out on the trail this year..
So dont be dumb...
Get you one...

I saw the latest version of Hanna's rear bumper last time I was up there...hope the new owner posts pics of it- a very cool "expedition-style" version.

FZJ80 Fireman, your truck looks awesome!

here is the dual swingout option, triple can carrier, hold 3 NATO gas cans or cooler

Ken, that looks sweet with the can carrier. Can't wait to get my rear bumper. Now get back to work :)

fj40m4, that is a hot bumper dude! Damn i wish i had some money for one of those.

I was wondering, on the recovery points, it looks like it's two pieces of thin plate with a thick metal washer welded between them, though I can't really tell from the pic. Does anyone know if it's a solid piece that goes through the bumper face and bolts to the frame like the Slee or 4x4 Labs bumpers?

Thanks,

It's 2 plates with a sleeve. I did not crawl under the one I saw to see what the back-side looks like.

Would like nicer with any thing other than an mt/r on it :flipoff2:

It would be much better if it wa a Swamper. TSL that is. :D

Oh crap. Sorry I did'nt mean to agree with Junk. :whoops: :flipoff2:

This makes me wanna get out and finish mine. I like some of the ideas in this and may steal them. ;)

I likey.
I have not seen a cooler/can carrier mounted up that high before.
Nice for ground clearance

Triple can/cooler carrier is VERY nice. Like the looks a little better than Kaymar, but no little towing thingy.

YOU LIKE EVERYTHING ABOUT 80'S!

don't ya big boy........ :flipoff2:

well, looks like there are 4 holes for a towing thingy, likely sturdy enough bumper for that no? (formal rating?)

what's with the 4500 sticker on the side? is that an import?

hey are those 33" tires you got there, and also how did you get your front mud flaps to fit with the hanna sliders in place? did you cut them some how?

Some versions of Ken's sliders stop short of the flap.

For a pintle hook yes - not for a 3500lb trailer. :flipoff2:

Can you buy the Hanna bumper without the tire carrier and then later add it on? With or without any mods to the bumper?

I'm running 33" tires right now and can fit my spare (LT285) under the truck. But I plan on later moving up to 35" or 36" tires. So at that point I would need a bumper mounted carrier.

Just trying to save some cash up front. :)

A 315x75-16 will fit underneath (though you lose clearance). :)

you sure about that? didn't think it fit the stock bumper. Is this with cutting?
