**Pics** Chrome to "Brushed Aluminum" finish on front grille shroud (1 Viewer)

So I've always disliked the chrome accents on my truck. I took the chrome finished grille shroud off and went over the whole thing with water and a scotch brite pad. I was really pleased with how it came out and thought I'd share. Anyone else done something similar?

did you use straight "sanding" strokes, or did you go in a circular pattern?
