Just scored a Silver 2007 GX470 with 41k miles in Tulsa, OK. I drove down to Lexus of Tulsa from Iowa after a 12" snow in my 1995 Land Cruiser. I will miss my old tank, but after a couple of weeks with my new to me GX, I really dig it. Love the nice ride and V8 power. It really will fit my needs nicely. I plan to keep it for a long time making minor mods as necessary. Going to start as a tow rig for my pop-up camper with light trail use and canoe hauling. I have four young kids so it fits them OK. We take a long road trip every summer. Last year we drove to the Redwoods and back to Iowa hitting eight national parks/monuments along the way. We did the trip with my wife's 2012 Honda Pilot. I wanted something with more power, and trail worthy after rolling through Dinosaur National Monument. Will also haul a couple canoes up to Boundary Waters once or twice a year.
The GX is in mint condition. Like owning a brand new one. Full service history including every oil change and other service at Lexus of Tulsa. It has no Nav which was ideal for me. Also no KDSS which I could go either way. I plan to upgrade suspension at some point. Probably down the road after any air suspension issues pop up. Tan interior which I like even if it gets dirty easy. The dealer installed new OEM Bridgestone tires and serviced the vehicle including the water pump and timing belt. They said they noticed some seeping around the water pump so did the full service. Awesome! I would like some bigger tires but will wear down the OEM tires first. No rust at all underneath. Doing the best I can to keep rust on hold. I take it through a car wash almost every day. $32.99 for a month of unlimited washes is worth it to me. Anyway, here are a coupled pictures from today.
