Anyone? Trying to decide if I want to put RWs on this LC or stick with the stock wheels. The Pearl White 13+ is a little "blingier" than the 08 Super White Im replacing, not sure how the RWs will look.

Day I brought mine home. I can get better tomorrow if you need it.

LCDC 2017 Breckenridge (3 sets of RWs in this pic) New KO2s on my 2nd set of RWs.

Off to go camping - side view. Showing original KO tires that came with set #1. I have managed to find 2 sets of RWs on Craigslist about 4 months apart. $500 for one set and $650 for the second. Only one set of lug nuts. I bought the Autel MaxiTPMS TS501 to reprogram the truck, when swapping sets. Never got Techstream to work for TPMS. I am running Firestone Airbags with stock suspension. About 425lb tongue weight.

In both pictures the wheels are dirty. They are shinier when clean.

Well thanks. They look good, the bling ring kinda brings out the lower chrome rocker trim. I just picked up another set of RWs yesterday, so ill be selling my old 08 with RWs on it and I guess keep this newer set for when the new Michelins on stock wheels wear out.

Great info on the Autel thing, so you are able to reprogram the TPMS sensors to match the vehicle ECU? Can it read the sensor ID number through the tire? Or are you doing it before the tires are mounted?

(Ive also recently started to dive down the pull-behind camper rabbit hole, so thats helpful too!)

I really do like the look. But I'm not crazy about all the chrome. There's a vehicle wrapping place on my daily commute, I may inquire about having the strips on the doors and tailgate done, maybe in a color that matches the center of the RW wheels.

Having cloned sensors is ideal, since then you don't need to reprogram the ECU. Not all sensors are reprogrammable and they need to be outside of the tire to reprogram. In otherwords you need to do that before mounting the tire on the rim.
All the TMPS ID reading tools I have heard of, including the TS501 can read the ID through the tire sidewall. So you can read the ID's and program them into the ECU. Not all TMPS tools can write to the ECU. Eg. The TS401 is just a read only tool. The TS501 comes with a cable and can Write. The TS501 can also program sensors, but the wheels I bought already had them. Hard to tell if they were reprogrammable.

Our 2015 was an early production--built in the fall of 2014--and it still had a 2014 TPMS system. When I had the RW wheels installed, our Discount Tire guys had a hard time getting their 2015 compatible sensors to work with the truck. Once they switched to 2014 compatible sensors, it was no problem. Spent the entire morning at Discount.

Thanks for that info. So with Techstream, can you upload the sensor IDs to the computer that way and get them to communicate? So I could buy the TS401 for $100, get the IDs, then upload to the ECU with Techstream?

Yeah I'm not crazy about all the chrome either, and swore Id never own a pearl white anything, but its actually grown on me.

That sounds like a great idea, rocker strips in graphite to match the RWs. I think that would look really good. Id find a graphite plastic-dip type stuff and tape it off and spray it yourself. They make that stuff in all sorts of colors now; metallics, pastels, etc.....
