I finally got around to doing my PHH on Friday. We removed the trans dipstick tube and the top bolt of the hard line. Starter stayed in place. Replaced with silicone hose kit from board vendor. We were able to complete the PHH, upper and lower radiator hoses, complete flush and fill w/Toyota red in about 4 hrs. This board is a great resource!!

Todd,

That is one way I did cheat. I didn't refill the radiator with antifreeze. I dumped distilled water in it and drained and refilled at a later date. I did also removed the inner fender skirting and I did unbolt the tranny tube. I was working on the side of the road and I read and reread all the posts on doing it about 50 times. I was mentally prepared. And I do have really small hands with long arms so that is an advantage. My fingers are so small I fit a friend's Super Bowl ring over both my middle and index fingers.

Eric,

Shoulda been a proctologist....
