Ha Woody,

Tried paying for my Silver Membership this morning and again tonight, when I push the paypal button I am taken to a foreign language paypal site.

Has to be something with your browser/computer...I follow the User CP > Paid Subs link and am taken to the same normal Paypal screen I always see.

Trying to renew my Silver Star via Paypal. I click your link to do so under Alerts, am asked if I want to buy the Star, then get a screen saying that Paypal requires me to turn on cookies. Seems odd since I never get that message and have never had a problem with them. I haven't adjusted any browser settings in quite a while, so nothing has changed there. Any thoughts on this? Am I being duped??? Thanks for your help.

Here's how I'm currently set up. Perhaps it's the "current page" setting not allowing cookies on the link?

So I changed the top choice to "Allow from websites I visit" and the redirect worked just fine. I guess the "Allow from current website only" doesn't accommodate the linked site. I almost always go directly to Paypal myself instead of following links. I'm guessing that was the problem. Anyway, Silver Star status returns!

Correct on the cookies...glad you got it solved!

Nearly all sites rely on some sort of session cookies to save preferences.
