Passed emissions with out the smog pump

Well, it wasn't on purpose, but I passed emissions with the smog pump disconnected. I inadvertently connected the hoses up wrong, there was no way it was working right. I did have a hose connected from the top of the MAF to the air rail, but not from the pump. I'm still not sure wtf I was thinking :D

So, should I just get rid of the smog pump all together?
 
Smog pump only diverts to the exhaust during decel or cold operation, makes no difference to your smog test. Dispose of it if you want to, maybe put something cool in it's place like an air compressor!
 
I would not get rid of the smog pump. From what I understand it must be there and look as if it is hooked up. Smog tests first do a visual to determine if ALL smog equipment is present. KEEP IT
 
Was it a dyno test or a tranny in neutral two speed test?
