That only works for Toyota's that were sold new in N.America.

I thought it was only in the US as the 79 series was sold in Canada.

Yes indeed-- very cool site. Anyone have a vin for a pickup 75 series? Or know the code? I narrowed it to 24 different variations within the 75 series.

All of them are going to indicate slight market-specific variations: mainly with emissions and engine controls systems.

Some will also indicate variation in drive train (auto vs. manual tranny, FF vs SF rear axle, LSD vs locking rear axle etc.).
