I would throw my hat in the ring for the road warrior. My brother is in El Paso, so he could manage the towing.

Thanks

This is coming from someone who parts out 40s, please don't part this one if you can get a title for it.
It deserves a good home, owner, and looks fairly complete.

Too bad I'm tied up today and tomorrow, the FJ40 is less than 35 miles from my house as the crow flies (but a 62-mile drive). Looking across the valley I could almost see it from my house. Otherwise I could check it out for an interested buyer.

why? who in their right mind would want what appears to be a relatively (or completely??) rust free NM fj40? :)

I am curious how you guys know this is a rust free rig?
I find it hard to tell from pictures what the original metal looks like underneath the paint.
I understand, region of the country with dry climate, yes that's a logical argument...
Someone close really needs to look this puppy over.
Am I missing something?

It most likely has some rust. It reallly does depend on area in New Mexico and how it was taken care of. I plan on rust in all of them. The amount of rust and wholeness of parts just determine if it's worth it to me. Even dry AZ rigs have spots. But for $2500 as long as it's not rotted to crap and it's mostly complete I could live with that.

If you find the title let me know how much for the whole thing. Also where in NM? Im in Cruces/ABQ. I would restore it back up to original.
I do have the title... I just need to pick up a copy. I called and confirmed my name on it. The frame is really good and the body has some bondo areas... mainly rear quarter panels. I'd like 3,400. I have more pics for email or txt
