++++++++++I bought Rich Adams wrecked 97 FJ80, he put it on its side on a ramp on the Jersey turnpike back in August. lots of good stuff- the truck runs very well, as good as my never wrecked 95 to be sure. Ask for anything not listed- I will sell anything on the truck, it needs to be stripped and sent to its final storage place. Mileage is 183K engine and it runs quite well. I am keeping the suspension and tires/wheels for my 95. Rich- the suspension and tires/wheels will be put to good use here in PA- thanks!!!! Here goes:
Engine- complete with wiring harness, power steering pump, starter, cooling fan, AC compressor, belts, all that jazz. Fuel injection system untouched- since it comes with the wiring harness not removed it's pretty much a plug and play. Rich has an engine analysis sample from the truck that is quite good. The engine starts readily and sounds great. No bad smoke or noises. I didn't butcher anything, either during the removal- no wires cut, carefully removed the four nuts from the exhaust pipes (studs still perfect and nuts threaded back onto them). When I pulled the transmission there was no oil leaking from the rear main seal, and the oil pan is completely dry. No leaks anywhere, oil or coolant. The engine control wiring harness is complete and uncut in any way. This is a very good engine for $500.
Transmission/transfer case, complete with transfer case shifter, transmission shifter, transfer case boot, the plate that bolts to the floor inside the truck with all the switches that go to the shifters, and the wiring harness. Torque converter is included as is the complete dipstick tube and dipstick. The output shafts on the transfer case are tight no play at all. Transmission and transfer work great in all gears. $300
Front driveshaft $50 Tan padded console lid $30 Power steering cooler tube assembly $40
Instrument cluster $25 Set of five stock 16" alloy wheels from my 95 FJ80 with tires $125 the set
The sheet metal on the driver side is very nice didn't see any damage there. Doors $50 each front fender with flare $60. Color is a nice dark red (maroonish). Ask for anything else in particular. Everything on the passenger side is damaged as is the roof and hood at the front passenger corner. I will attach a photo of the driver side of the truck to show how nice this sheet metal is. I also have the radiator support very nice $40, radiator $50, AC condenser $40.
I can palletize the engine, or other big parts and get to either FEDEX Freight or Roadway/Yellow Freight terminals for $100 per trip (it's a 50 mile drive for me one way) if the buyer makes the shipping arangements. I've done this several times and it works fine. I will not sell anything big that has to be boxed- seats for example- too much trouble. I'm in northeast PA not far from Rausch Creek offroad park. best way to reach me is Mud private message or email shmukter@pa.metrocast.net. Thanks, Gary S
