Partial paint job, or not worth it?

I just bought an '83 60, it has one bad panel. The rear passenger window has two small rust spots and chipped paint below that. It looks like a bad accident repair job. The rest of the vehicle has dull paint, but no bad spots. I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to shine up the rest of the truck and have a body shop respray the damaged area. Will they be able to match the paint? I'm not concerned about having a show truck, just a 20 footer.
What should I expect to pay for the repair and paint? I am gonna fix the rust, just need to decide if I'm gonna make it look decent, or ride around with a primered panel, lol.

That isn't going to be an easy or cheap fix, right there at the complex, rounded window channel. The window's going to have to come out. I'd guess at least $1000, depending on the shop and depending on what you find when you get into it.

Yeah window needs to come out and rust/cancer needs to be cut out and replaced with new steel.
To answer your question, they will be able to partially match, meaning your current paint has patina to it that cannot be replicated with new paint, thus you will have new paint/shiny areas where it has been worked on.

Thanks. I will try and hit the rust with some sort of treatment and hope it doesn't get any worse. I won't be able to address it properly until I get the mechanical stuff squared away.
