OK, I have searched "parking deck", "Parking", "overall Height" , and "clearance" and I can't find an answer to this oh so common newbie question....

For those of you with lifts and larger tires and other modifications that effect the overall height of your vehicles, what is the overall height of a UZJ100 with 33" tires? With or without a modest lift.

The crux of my question is what can I fit in the parking decks I am forced to deal with on a daily basis?

Thanks,

Jon

I have low garage clearance and asked the same question to a member who had the OME lift and 285/75/16 tires, this was the reply:

About 79"

The top of my 100`s Outback rack ( no side rails installed) with approx 2.75" of lift and 34" tires measures in at 81" high.

I have 33's with no lift and I was in a 6'1" garage the other day. Scared the hell out of me- until I dropped in low mode with AHC.

Use you antenna to check height of over head objects or parking garages. With your mast all the way up, you have about 2.5 inches clearance. It’s been that way with both my LC’s. It’s a great tool once you know how to use it.
DMX.

Thanks guys, that's what I needed to know.

Jon

Take a level from the top of the luggage rack which is probably the highest point in the back. Measure distance to the ground. Different brand tires are different heights, also, tire pressure you normally run will make a difference also.
