Parking Brake Light

So the last time I used my parking brake, the parking light has been coming on and off when the brake isn't in use. When I go over bumps or pot holes, it goes off, but will randomly come back on. Anyone know what gives?

Have you checked your brake fluid level? I believe that light is for both the parking brake and the fluid reservoir level.
