I just got my new FZJ80 home today. I drove from Salado to Dallas to conduct the transaction and then drove her home. WOW, such a great deal more comfort on the highway as compared to my 62.

It is a 1997 FZJ80 with 96k all stock.

Pic follows.
Pardon this post if it's not in the right place. I could not contain myself.

Nice score. Low mileage, unique color, appears to be a CE.

Nice, and it is in the correct place.
Cheers,
Sean

Lockers were not standard on any trim level...some 40th and CEs have 'em, some don't.

This is an ebay purchase, no? Good find...

Indeed it is. It has lockers. Is that standard on CE?

No, but the decal on the front fenders and the side moulding were part of the CE package. You'll also have a climate-control A/C like in the 40th and all of LX450s.

Is that a blue CE? I did not know they came in blue for the CE, cool!

The 1997 CE option was available in any color. The 40th Anniversary edition in 1997 required either vomit green or antique sage. Antique sage was only available with the 40th option.

Congrats! Nice low mileage too.

I own a "restored" FJ60 and the ride quality and power compared to my FZJ80 is like day and night.

Congrats!! looks great.

Beautiful!! I always wanted a blue 80 series. But I was impatient and ended-up with a black one. It's still a unique color, but it's just not blue!

On a nother note, I first read the title of your post as, "Pardon my Excrement":D Glad I re-read it!!!

Congrats John!

I'm with you, wanted a blue and ended up with black (which I am very fond of us as well) but I had never seen a blue CE or a blue 97' for that matter. I was thinking the only blue in 97' was the dark navy (almost black looking) blue, but this looks like the lighter blue I have seen on 96's? Anyways, nice looking rig
