How many have noticed any Panhard related issues after a lift on a gx470?

I haven’t seen this discussed much here on the 120 forum.

On the spare tire thread, @chiz45 linked a thread on T4R about Panhard correction kits.

I guess that’s the first time I paid attention to this. But I don’t feel any steering or driving issues with my rear Panhard due to my air bag lift which is modest at 1.25” or 1.5” depending on what the factory fresh height was hub to fender.

Anyone has corrected the Panhard on a gx470 and how did you fix it?

There was a group buy on GXOR for panhard correction brackets. I’m only running a 2.5” lift and didn’t feel any unstableness with it. I bought and welded in the bracket though ($75? And an hour of prep/welding) the rear geometry looks better now.
Check here:
PCK

And look up Tyler Portin on FB GXOR.

Thanks for that link!

Okay, that makes more sense since I don’t feel anything is wrong as it sits.

I did read those threads over at T4R but they make it seem like any lift of 2” or more needs the PCK on 4Rs

Basically, any lift seems to change the angle of the Panhard and possibly impacts the geometry of the suspension and maybe that’s why I have a lean?

No drivability issues as far as I can tell. Just a 1/4”drivers side lean on front and rear.

You shouldn't have any lean because you're not KDSS and the panhard shouldn't cause or fix a lean. I'd check your suspension setup for that. If you go to facebook - GXOR - GX Offroad and search PCK there are multiple pictures of peoples oanhard angles with lifts, with and without the bracket.

I had to do an extended panhard on my GX with the lift I run (LT/mutant). I still have a problem with the diamond axle kissing my panhard every now and then depending on the flex. I need to get the PCK to move it up and should allow for more travel and no more touch. Right now I have the Icon panhard dialed at about 1/4" correction on my lift, so unless you have more than 3" in the rear I don't think it needs much at all.
