Whats wrong with your transmission? It not shifting right? You can get a good used 4 speed cheap with all the people going to 5 speeds.
What kind of transmission?
I have a 4 speed from an FJ60 you can have if you want it.

Not sure what transmission is on the 62, but it is automatic. There are some really helpful people on this site.

What is wrong with it? Does it miss shifts? Try two things before rebuilding and or replacing. First of all, give it a tranny flush. This might help with slow/sluggish shifts. Secondly, adjust the kickdown cable. This will give firmer shifts at better points for the engine.
I love having a manual. If the auto in your 62 is shot, consider that conversion.
