has anybody painted the hub caps anything other then the safe silver or black? if so did it look really bad and you ended repainting them? i think red, to match my paint, would look good but don't want to pay for the exact color match and another shade red would look odd. I just think the standard black and gray on the hub caps, mud flaps and bumpers looks bland...trying to add some color for not too much $.

Try yellow, everybody loves yellow!! :D

Your own personal sense of style, grace and individuality would be best served by going with whatever strikes your fancy. Wouldn't it be a shallow visual statement if we suggested it? Go your own way - heh.

Personally, I think stock color is best but there's no accounting for taste.

I refinished my caps in stock silver and then in a rainy evening fit of poser-dom, I dug out my airbrush and painted the logo inlays in antique sage metallic to match the truck.

I know.... :princess:

do you still have the stock bumpers? i'm trying to match the hub caps and the bumpers to accent the red, was planning on repainting the logo to match the truck...i bet yours looks great!

Don't be misled by my prior post. I was more or less bored waiting on my next round of PM parts to arrive. Bumpers are going away in favor of Kaymar and ARB.

I painted the axle caps gloss black and threw away the wheel hub caps. I think it looks much better. I just touch up the paint when I have the wheels off.

Hubcaps are for sissies ;)
