If you ever buy shocks you can use the piece of aluminum that keeps them suppressed as a parts hanger for painting.

I had 2 laying around so I cut them in two and bent the end like a hook.


You could also raid the local brake and alignment shop for their left overs when it comes time to paint.

I hung my half doors and tailgate using only two of them!
