Truck starts then dies a few minutes later. CEL P0100.

The MAF was replaced 3 weeks ago with the same CEL but wasn't stalling. I have checked the resistance of MAF according to FSM and it is within spec. I also installed the older MAF just to see - and same result.

I have made sure it is plugged in properly

Any help or suggestions would be great. Thank you.

If both Mafs gave the same results I would start looking for a vac leak between the maf and the throttle body first. (propane trick perhaps after a good visual)

What do you think Andy, check fuel pressure if no vacuum leak found....

I got a call from Stevens Creek Toyota (I had it towed there because they honor TLCA members with a substantial discount)

The diagnose is "one of the wires that plugs into the MAF has come loose". They said that it all checks out and everything is good. So I hope it is fixed.

Total cost $0.00 - I will pick it up tomorrow and hopefully it gets me home :D
