Forgive me if this thread had been covered already but i'd like to know whats up with the stock carpet in the 100's as compared to the 80's. We've got both and it seems to me like the 80 carpet is ten time more durable and takes stains better as well, we've owned our 80 for 6 or 7 years now and its carpet has done amazingly, the 100 is another story, dont get me wrong, its still decent and we take car of it, just doesnt seem as durable

You might want to go to a place where they will install the plastic membrane under the mats and/or in all the carpet areas. Newer cars have this done from the dealer and I think there are local shops that do this as well.

Never owned an 80 but my carpet in the 100 has held fairly well-two kids, great dane, weekly music gigs. I also detail my 100 once a month at a place that steam cleans the carpets. 60.00 well spent in my opinion.
