So I'm going ahead with this trip on the weekend before Tuttle. It's a a 2.5 day trip. I got all my info from talking to mark that does it once or twice a year. Let me know if anyone wants to go. There will be 3 fj's going for sure maybe more. I have the gps file as well as the map.

You should go during the week, less people to bother you. Like say Oct 12,13,14, or 15. Any of those days really. Oh and I could go too

Same here, we are on shift that weekend. I really want to make that trip in the fall. I think it would be pretty cool once the leaves have turned. Plus the rivers should be passable by that time.

I talked to a few guys on the blue room (Fj cruiser forum) and here is a funny response

He has done that trail several times and said October is probably as good as it gets.
