STL girl here interested in a 2020 4runner TRD listed in Overland Park. My mechanic told me about this forum and to reach out and see if anyone would be willing to check the 4runner out for me and see if it's in great shape. It's listed on Facebook by owner, 2020 white 4runner TRD for $39,999. I was just trying to avoid and unnecessary trip if not in great shape.
I'm new to this all by the way. Letting go of my Wrangler and moving on to bigger and better fun.

Fellow white 5th gen owner here. There's not a ton to go wrong with these in 4 years. Ask the seller for their maintenance records. They should have changed the oil at least every 10,000 miles (more is better IMO). Ask for pictures of the front skid plate, fuel tank skid, frame and bottom of the trailer hitch. If the pics show beat up skid plates, or lots of rusty scrapes, no need to stick around. There are tons of 4Runners out there.

Interior pics too. Driver's seat bolster. Trunk area plastics. These things wear like iron, so just check there are no rips.

Not sure what this last bit in their description means: "need bearing update Feb '24". Odd for wheel bearings to go out at 55k without some kind of neglect.

If you do buy it, I'd have a mechanic change all the fluids (oil, coolant, front diff, rear diff, transfer case, power steering), grease the driveline, change the oil/engine/cabin filters and you should be good to go worry-free for a while.

FWIW, that price seems high. Punched in the basic info on kbb.com and got this. The suspension and tires aren't worth 6k in my opinion :)
