Hi everyone:

It seems like what I was hearing was that people who were interested in the 'MUD board would like it to be a public one so that others from around the continent who frequent IH8MUD would get a chance to check out what Coastal Cruisers is about. Also, it would provide a great oppurtinuty for local BC Cruiserheads who aren't members yet to be able to "hang out" with us, join us for Club runs, and see if joining the Club would be of interest to them.

I think this is a great idea...we would still have Topica for our Club business online. So, a request was made and thanks to Woody, this morning our forum is no longer Private. Thank you Woody!

I thought I would post up some pics of Club members' rides here, as a way of introducing ourselves. Feel free to join in.

Forget if that was last year or the year before, when I had delusions I would be able to wheel the high lift SUA DPV I had the SSR's on. When I realized it was going to be a pavement princess for a while longer the Wild Country's went on, and the BJ74 inherited the SSR's.

I don't know why I didn't notice the BC CC club forum till now.

Amazing how the MUD board is growing.

Is there every any trips in the northern areas? Or in the middle. I am trying to decide if a CC membership will get used by me. Hate to buy it and never participate. Or is there more to it? I do plan on joining TLCA and most likely others.

I don't think it would be to worth it for you, as you probably won't get out to any meetings, or get discounts at any local stores, unless you use lordco a lot, and plus if you ever want to come wheeling to a semi northern trip with us, you don't have to be a member, as we welcome all cruiser heads to our runs(and hell anyone that wants to wheel no matter what they drive). I think the farthest northern trip we went on was Windy Ridge/ Big bar.
Cheers,
Deny

Thanks, thats kinda what I was thinking. where abouts is windy ridge?

Windy ridge, is a trail that we started from pemberton, went up to Goldbridge I think, then up though mud lakes and apparently goes up around Gang Ranch. We never finished it, as a mamber had a close encounter with a steep, slippery road and lucky for some trees avoided the steep revine. (there are write ups about this trail on the internet) We ended up going over the China head trail to Big bar. We also usually go to big bar every long weekend (past 3 years) thats up on the Fraser River past Lilloet.
Cheers,
Deny
