Ouachita NF Christmas Ride - Sat 12/21 (1 Viewer)

On Saturday 12/21, myself and other members are heading out to the ONF near Lake Winona and Lake Sylvia for a day run. Lance and I have been doing this "Christmas Ride" for the last 3 years, so I guess this could be the "4th Annual" if you care about those things.

We'll see the lakes, overlooks, maybe a water crossing or two, lots of dirt roads, and maybe some wildlife. You won't need 4WD much at all.

Pack a lunch and some drinks and snacks, meet us at 9:00 AM at the gas station at Williams Junction (where Hwy 10 meets Hwy 9 between Perryville and Paron).

We plan to be out of the woods by no later than 4:00 PM.

I still need to plan the route, so if there is something specific that you know we need to see, post up the GPS coords, and I'll try to fit it in the route. Expect the route to be around 30 miles.

I'd like to have no more than 10 trucks (including myself) as I want to keep this small and manageable for now. I might make an exception for current members if we are exceeding the 10.

I chatted with Lance yesterday about the number of rigs going and asked if he thought it'd be okay if I invited my brother to go along. Don't know if he'll go yet, but wanted to get some opinions from those who know the trails intimately that we'll be traversing Saturday.

Will this fit?: (It does have 33" Nitto terra grapplers and a lot more scratches now--he's not afraid to get it dirty. It usually stays dirty)
