Wanted Original FJ40 A/C and Power Steering

I'm looking for a 1979 - 1983 FJ40 A/C and an original power steering set up that includes the original brakets for both.

For A/C it's a complex deal for OE as you will need rad, rad support, fan shroud, pass side motor mount to hold idler and a/c pump and the battery tray that allows the pump to be where it is. You will also need the switch under the steering wheel and the harness for the unit that plugs into the OE harness and also you will need the heater duct.

Now you can skip most of that and go after market piece by piece firewall out and OE inside the cab.

For P/S,. go with a rebuild mini box and altered pedestal and cut 1.5 from the steering shaft. The pump can still be had from Toyota and I have a new ps pump bracket.

Hi Shane,

Thanks for the info. I have a 1980 and 1982 FJ40 that needs the factory P/S and A/C. As long as I can get those factory parts, ......can install it with no problem. Did it twice for my 2 1979 FJ40's awhile back.

That's my problem. got too much FJ40's in my yard and driveway.

A/C

I have a Factory A/C set up on my 1981 and need to sell it. It is the inside unit with all ductwork and switch. I will also through in the blower motor and any valves,switchs that are left on the firewall. I do not have brackets for the engine,hoses, or a compressor or radiator. $600.00 Dan 972-896-8497
