Correct Larry - The truck was in Santa Monica and then went to Austin for a few months before I acquired her. It's pretty amazing, she barely has a scratch on her.

Nice time capsule. Never saw that rubber plug on the wiper motor cover before. Did new 1978’s have that?

Yes, I believe 78's did have that plug on the wiper motor cover.

Since it’s sold, are you able to share the ‘sold for’ price as a measure for the current market for an unmolested truck?

As a courtesy to customer privacy, I don't share that information but the truck was offered at $38,900 and I received a deposit from a customer. The sale has not been finalized yet.

Kinda hope so! Car market as a whole has calmed down. Cruisers went wild in 2014 and 2015. Now it seems to be the Broncos turn for "irrational exuberance".
