Everything is $11,400: 1998 LX470 241k miles, 3rd row seats, second set of 4 wheels with winter tires on them, assortment of parts, and FSM.

We've happily owned it for almost 6 years. My life circumstances have changed and I don't have time or garage space to give it proper care. Hope it finds loving hands and stays on the road for decades to come.

I will provide a lot of details here as my goal is to be transparent and save your time in case anything about it is a dealbreaker. I will update the post with additional details as they come to mind.

A few notes about its history:
  • We are its 3rd family based on my research. I believe it had a title transfer within 2nd family. We bought it at ~219k miles in 2016.
  • I haven't towed or off-roaded in it. Previous owner seems to have used it for towing at least a few times.
  • I believe it has been mostly garaged before we bought it, but I parked it outside 80% of the time.
  • Based on my research, it has been regularly serviced at the dealer until ~135k. After that, maintenance was done at 3rd-parties and history isn't well documented. Yet, a few major repairs were done by the dealer even after the owner stopped servicing it at the dealer:
    • master brake cylinder replaced at 192k,
    • starter replaced at 194k,
    • ignition key cylinder replaced at 196k,
    • steering pump and rack replaced at 196k,
    • 90k service has also been performed by the dealer.
  • No accidents: neither while I owned it, nor reported by previous owner or carfax.

I have done the following baselining and repairs using the great advice from ih8mud and FSM ever since we bought it at ~219k miles:
  • replaced heater Ts with new OEM parts at 220k;
  • replaced broken antenna mast at 220k;
  • resurfaced rear break rotors and replaced rear break pads (OEM) at 220k;
  • changed rear diff, front diff, transfer case fluids using Mobil1 75W-90 at ~226k (and magnetic plugs looked great);
  • rebooted both CV-axles using OEM reboot kit at 233k;
  • replaced both CV-axle oil seals;
  • replaced both front wheel bearings (with OEM) at 233k;
  • replaced both front break rotors (with OEM), front break pads (OEM) at 233k;
  • rebooted upper ball joints (which are still nice and tight) with OEM reboot kit at 237k;
  • replaced CV axle flanges (with OEM) on both sides at 237k;
  • replaced both propeller shafts (with OEM) at 239k;
  • fixed leak in the steering fluid hose at 237k: have been topping it up with Mobil1 ATF for a long time until I found the loose hose clamp 🤦;
  • did transmission drain-refill with Mobile1 ATF every engine oil change;
  • did engine oil changes using Mobil1 full-synthetic and Mobil1 M1-102A filters every ~5k miles/12 months;
  • using OEM cabin and air filters.

There are a few baselining things which I meant to do but never had time and don't expect to anymore. I have the following parts included with the vehicle:
  • One OEM wheel hub cap: one was missing when we bought it, and I ordered two. One is now spare.
  • 5 spare OEM lug nuts and studs.
  • One OEM diff/trans breather.
  • 2 cans of OEM AHC fluid. Never got to replacing the liquid.
  • One OEM CV-axle reboot kit. Ordered 3 when was working on the front-end, one was left as a spare.
  • 2 OEM lower ball joint reboot kits. Never got to rebooting lowers, only rebooted uppers.
  • Assortment of OEM CV-axle C-clips.
  • Assortment of engine/transmission/diff/transfer drain/fill gaskets.
  • One Mobil1 M1-102A oil filter.
  • One OEM CV axle flange gasket.
  • 3 volume FSM for the vehicle's year.
  • Timing belt replacement is definitely due but I have no parts prepared for it.

It's mostly stock. Non-stock parts are:
  • I've upgraded front floor mats to all-weather weathertec's. Original carpet ones are included with the vehicle.
  • Replaced badly rusted upper lift-gate with same color-coded LC part: lost Lexus badging on it but gained a wind deflector.
  • Headlights are aftermarket (inherited from previous owner), I believe Eagle Eyes.
  • It runs on stock wheels and 275/70R-16 YOKOHAMA GEOLANDAR H/T G056 SL tires with 9/32 of thread left.
  • Winter set of wheels+tires is 275/70R-16 YOKOHAMA ICEGUARD IG51V mounted on 4 stock wheels with 11/32 of thread left. There are 8 wheels and tires total.
  • Windshield is not original but has the same brown tint as all other original windows do. No cracks or chips on the windshield.

Other nice bits about this vehicle:
  • Suspension is really nice and quiet with virtually no clunk (new flanges and propeller shafts FTW).
  • Engine sounds like music and transmission shifts perfectly.
  • AHC works great and I see 12 ticks difference on the reservoir between AHC low and AHC high.
  • Interior is in great shape (other than the outer panel on the driver seat, which has cracks).
  • Absolutely everything works: all electrical and non-electrical features.
  • It is reliable and dependable. Never gave us problems: going camping across Utah, or driving to Yellowstone and Grand Canyon.
