The engine will swap in. Front axle could be used for a disk brake swap. Steering box for a power steering conversion. You could swap in the axles with some can work.

I don't know the legal aspects and the penalties associated but I figured the 600.00 60 could be married with what you have.
It would take some work but there is a Tool and Drool coming up down your way and just drag them over there stocked with meat and booze.

If the rest of your truck is solid maybe you should just consider looking for another 60 but just for the frame
Was this the 60 that was for sale on rt 85 and then on east street in Hebron CT. a while ago,the guy that owned it was related to or worked at fireside fireplace shop down off of east st in hebron? If it is the same one I looked at it and the frame is not worth the trouble to repair it was not road worthy then. Please be careful driving this truck around if it is the same one. just my 02. cents

Yep it is the same truck... She's been ok since '08 when I bought her but yes, I'm in the works of trying to sell her for parts and getting something less risky. Thank you for your two cents.
