Odyssey batteries are actually designed for mililtary use such as tanks and helicopters. My next store neighbor builds and repairs custom yachts and they use them all the time to power the very large diesel engines. He took two out of a yacht that were 2 years old used to start 16 cylinder engines (one per engine) becuase the owner just wanted fresh batteries before he went on a big trip. Those two batteries are in his F350 and that was over 3 years ago. And they were smaller than the stock batteries from Ford.
