Its currently in Canukistan. So if you have any idea on how much it costs to broker the import as well that would be helpful.

I mostly worried about the rust around the windows as shown in the pictures, because I dont know if that would be an easy thing to fix.

Looks alike an iron worm infestation benefitting from a steady diet of nutritious salt solution. May be superficial, may require cut and weld; hard to tell without poking it. It's exterior body panel damage anyway. The interior rot, if any, won't be visible until/unless you pull up her skirts :)

The underside looks new. That's the part I'd be concerned about.

That underside looks like its been sprayed with that typical dealer black spray paint to hide the crusty-ness. A year after anybody buys it all those paint bubbles and black paint and what not will really start to chip and grow.

That is actually a ton of rust for an 80 series. You'll have to likely replace all four doors, because you'll have to grind the hell out of those to get the rust out, probably destroying the seams and maybe the doors in the process...especially with how bad the rust is on the window. The rockers are bad too. I don't see how it can have that much rust in those places and not be falling apart underneath, even with the undercoating. Then you're going to have to paint what you grind down or cut out and patch.

It would be better to do a diesel swap in a rust free cruiser with a bad engine. That's a lot of money for so much rust.

However, if your desire to have a diesel outweighs the rust, go for it. It can be fixed. Just going to take some work.

I can smell the rust from here......Phew!!!:poop:

Buy it for $100, then wheel the steering*** out of it!

Damn Otto Kreckt.

I live in the rust belt and this even for me, this is just too much rust in too many places to justify the price. For 3 grand, I might bite, just for the diesel, but you are looking at a ton of body work and a new paint job, just to keep it from exploding with rust in the next few years.

This is going to be the first time I look at a rig and agree that it is too rusty. You know the bottom of that girl was rust city and the seller just covered it up with that shiny black oil. No way, Jose.
