Opinion needed on timing belt change

Hey guys need some opinions. Just bought 2003 LC a few months ago, and lovin it. The timing belt will be at its 7 year change time this April, but it only has 55000 miles since it was changed in 2009. Total mileage 145000. Was going to change it in April of this year, but budget a little tight and I was wondering if I could stretch it until March/ April of next year? Only drive about 10000 miles/year. Also very light use, I really baby this beast

I have no problem extending that interval. By a couple of years... If the water pump was done last time...

Keep eye on weep hole at bottom of T-Belt cover for any fluid leak.

I would not worry as long as you can confirm that the belt was changed. It doesn't take much to pull of the rh cam/timing cover for inspection. 5 mins tops.

I would think that you would be fine for another year, seems like plenty of comments come up on other threads about much longer mileage and time intervals.

I wouldn't worry about it. I'd be more worried about water pump and parts the TB rides on and tensioner.

I wouldn't even think about it... but like what others have said I'd watch the water pump and double check the heater T's , I'd also watch the radiator... the 2 failed engines I've witnessed both were the result of split radiators
