HOME DEPOT recycles all batteries for free ......fyi

they have a drop off can with a metal flapper door just put them in a sealed bag

Nah, I'm not going to recycle these batteries just to get rid of them. I'd prefer to trade them as a core for another reconditioned battery pack. Thanks though! If I had a spot welder, perhaps I'd think about changing out individual batteries with brand new ones.
