Well I'm finnaly getting around to cleaning up/re-ringing the engine im going to put in my 1974 BMW 2002. its out of a 76' and Ive already had the head rebuilt/shaved. It has all new valve guides, hardened valve seats, new stem seals, and completely cleaned out of all the carbon build up from all the smoke. so, since the head is off and i couldnt do anything until I had the new Piston rings, I couldnt really do anything. So i decided to clean up little parts on the engine, such as the valve cover. I also fixed the oil dipstick tube, im not sure wether its stock or not but theres this little peice of rubber that holds the up tube to the bottom tube, and it looked like s***, so i just used a sleeve and it looks 100% better.
anyways heres some pictures of the valvecover/engine.
