I think you should also pick up a conduit bender and some conduit and get to work on an exo cage. I've got a 9K winch laying around is that to much winch for the gator?:eek:

I figured the suggestions would start flowing... No thank you, I think the 600lb winch I picked up at Northern Tool is way more than he'll ever need with the 50lb truck. :grinpimp:

Now the exocage. :hhmm: Maybe we can talk... lol

Hey I might have put on a little weight in the last year but I don't think calling me round stock is fair :flipoff2::grinpimp::D:p

I figured I should have spelled out Aluminum ;).

Clint I may try and get in touch with you to drop off some stuff Jon has asked for (and the top to Stacy's pot). It would be T-shirts and an exhaust manifold... I'll let Jon chime in if that's the route he wants to go...

Hey Brian - please do drop off the intake and exhaust manifold (and shirts) with Clint/Stacy).

PM me your address and I'll mail you that check.

Guys I am going to have to miss this one, sorry.

My oldest daughter is graduating and I have family and friends coming in from all over tonight and in the morning. Then have to be at the new convention center in Raleigh at 12:30 until 4....then back to the house for a graduation party.

I'll be there with some if not all of the family. We look forward to seeing everyone.

Had a good time wrenching and a better time eating :) It was good to see everyone. Thanks again to Clint and Stacy.

Yes, once again thanks to Stacy for some awesome grub to eat after most of us watched others do work. :D

Thanks guys for the help with tools, wrenching, rebuilding, and polishing off the food. ;)

It took a couple of rounds of bleeding the brakes, but we got the truck drivable late last night after having some other friends over for dinner. Does anyone know what the need is for bleeding the master cylinder? I may have let the brake fluid reservoir drop low when pulling the rear calipers. Is bleeding the master cylinder simply a shortcut if the reservoir gets low on fluid or is this a requirement? We cycled through bleeding all the calipers, and the brakes felt quite a bit better after the second round.

If the reservoir was low, but not empty, then you shouldn't have to bleed the master cylinder. If it did get too low and air could have gotten in there, it should be bench bled. You can bench bleed it on the truck, but you need a couple of shorty brake hard lines that are bent so that one end screws into the side of the MC and the other empties back into the reservoir. Fill it up so that the end that's in the reservoir is under brake fluid and pump the brakes until there are no more bubbles.

you should be able to get the air out with a power bleeder. i would go ahead and replace the brake fluid at this point.

It was great seeing everyone again, Clint I want to hire Stacy as our personal chef. :D
