I recently got a screaming deal on an 06 with 80k and blown AHC accumulators. Thanks to all the great info here I was totally confident that I could fix the AHC issue. However, I needed to drive the truck during the ~2 weeks it took me to round up all the parts for the repair. The ride in the truck is extremely bouncy, primarily in the rear. I found that a very effective temporary solution was just to take some air out of the rear tires. I dropped them from 35 to 25 psi (hot) and it made a very noticeable improvement in the bounce. It did not go away but it reduced it to the point where I no longer piss blood after driving it. Clearly this is a temporary solution but its a good one for people in similar predicaments.

I am sure this fix will be super obvious to a lot of the people here but I have read pages and pages of AHC related posts and never saw this mentioned.
