I have this truck on consignment. Assuming it's still available, she's going on eBay Sunday night.

Very nice low miles survivor with original paint, upholstery, etc, and no rust. It was rustproofed when new and appears to have been babied. The truck is in on Oahu and costs about $1050 to have her shipped to Long Beach. The owner put headers and and Holley on her but saved the original carb and exhaust manifold. He also swapped the wheels but saved the original wheels and hubcaps. These all come with including two original Dunlop tires.

You can see several photos here -> http://www.myfj40.com/For_Sale/80_FJ40_MUS_3.html

The seller is looking for $35,000

nice looking 40

yeah it would pop up, then be gone...then back.

Actually John, it was on 9 west coast cities and Honolulu since 11/17 but someone was flagging it.

35k$?

this really sell for 35k$? man, I've been out of the loop. Seems like just the other day they were going for half that. I have a sweet '78 mustard yellow 40 too. Wasn't planning on selling it but if these things are selling for that kind of $$.....

Prices have been high for months, I thought it was because everyone wanted a convertible 4x4 for the summer... but there is snow on the ground now and they are still bringing bank.

I have seen garbage sell for more than nice trucks were going for just a few years ago.

Seemingly small differences can make the price vary widely. Low miles, original survivors always attract a big following. Restorations can bring good money as well, but they are all over the map.

Hi, Considering what a new, plastic ,no style car is being sold far this does not seem bad. Mike
