Alright, I want this truck gone fast. I am open to all sorts of trades, especially trades plus cash. A RTT plus some cash would be really cool or trading it for someone to do a SOA on my 60 might be an option... really just offer me whatever you want and I'll consider it!
I'm pretty firm on $1100 cash or a trade equivilant.
So here's a run down on the truck.
I bought it a few month back with a clear title and about 245K miles on it. I had not run in quite some time. Changed some fluids, new battery and got it running. Idles and runs smooth. New catalytic converter welded in and also a new muffler. I replaced the PS pump with a good used one I bought out of the MUD parts clasiffieds. It works great but it turns out one of the soft lines is leaking so I took the new belt off of the pump to drive it around. Seems to drive pretty nice. It has newer totoya rims with 31 inch tires. One tire is new, the other three should be replaced very soon. It does smoke a little on start up.
Other than 3 tires and a PS line, what else does it need?
The main thing is that the rear main seal leaks, especially when parked. It needs to be replaced. And while the tranny is out to do the seal, it neds to either be replaced, rebuilt, or flushed well. Not really sure what it needs. It'll shudder at 65-70 mph and slip a bit, mainly in reverse. The 1-2 shift is rough.
It needs a tail pipe and lighting for the rear license plate. I have the chrome surround for it though.
The antenna is bent.
It has rust on the front of the hood and top of the fenders. there has been rust repair in those places previously.
Otherwise, there is a rusty hole in the very rear by the bumper. you can see it in the video below.
The interior condition is pretty good minus a well worn drivers seat and strange silicone like paint spill in the rear cargo area. Dash has no cracks, AC works if I remember correctly (don't quote me on it though...). The stereo seems to be really nice but I haven't messed with it much. The drivers window needs some attention since its difficult to roll up/down. These are the "rare" fj62 manual windows and locks.
The brakes need to be bled.
