As usual I was pressed for time while putting this together, hence the reverse install thread. I had the pump and tank already and wanted to use it for a camping trip. It worked great and I think the built in 45psi cutoff is just short of magic. The pump builds pressure and turns itself off until the valve is opened, no need for a switch. Its getting cold up here in the northeast and considering how easy the install was i might as well store the pump and tank indoors for the winter before i blow a seal:mad:.

This shot shows the lever which controls tank input/output, lever in this position lets the pump draw water from the tank. pull the lever 90deg. and fill the tank from a facet/spigot until it overflows thru the filter/breather. I found some nice brass caps at wallyworld to keep the dirt out of the system.

Nice Setup. I was thinking of doing the same. How is the water tank secured? Any problemswith the water sloshing around without baffles?

Thats a cool way to make the onboard water/shower thing work.

Ive been planning on building one for my cruiser, but it will have to wait till next year I think.

I am planning on using the trans cooler to warm the water with the engine, and build a mount for a shower head, and if I can a shower screen.

shower

no complaints from the better half:)
