The previous owner of my rig (2000 LC) did an Old Man Emu Lift/Suspension upgrade. That appears to have included OME torsion bars, at least I assume because the new ones are grey and not black. I was under the truck the other day and noticed the back end of passenger side torsion bar is flaking/rusting badly. Strangely, the drivers side looks brand new. Also, it has only effected the exposed area, after the plastic plate. It almost looks like the powder coat failed. Any ideas on causes? Should I be worried?
