Waggoner5 and I (mostly Gary) slapped this OME kit on my Taco this Monday in Dallas.

It is the full kit using the heavy front springs.

I am VERY pleased with the ride and the handling post-lift. It is almost as good of an imoprovement as an OME lift on an 80 series, but not that drastic of an improvement.

It is actually a smoother ride than the factory TRD. The OME shocks are easily pushed in and out by hand, but the Bilsteins are super stiff.

While I was in there I installed some OEM FJ Cruiser TRD wheels from Gumbo at trdparts4u.com (Toyota of Dallas) ala Gumbo here on the list.

The tires are tried and true 285/75/16 BFG AT/KO's.

Power is noticably down as the truck is not in the perfect RPM setting for the 3.70 gears, but overall it is not too bad.

Mileage going over with the stock tires was the same as coming home with the 33's...I was VERY surprised about that.

Anyway, with the Shrockworks.com sliders and the lift, I am ready for Hot Springs in 2 weeks!

Man, Thats Deja VU,

Nice Truck. I just finished putting the Toy-tec 3" lift on my 05 Tacoma TRD. It basically consists of OME springs that go back over the factory Bilstein front shocks along with a 1/2" aluminum Spacer.

The rear gets an Alcan Add a leaf, and Im adding longer shocks. I have the truck basically done to my liking, but im still waiting for my Rear Bumper form Justin at Rock-tec engineering.
