When did that change?
IMHO the hinder off road about as much as they benefit on road. I was surprised at how little difference they made.
well, no matter any of the difference, i overnighted them to me from MAF, i really ahd no choice, i'm doing the install monday, plus, i do a lot of highway driving
Did not think you needed the sway bar extensions on a OME heavy / heavy ? Front and rear sway bar if you have one installed? FOn a FJ60? Guess I'll finds out fore sure on the front tomorrow if it does not rain me out. Anyone know first hand?
well, one of the links just kind of floats in my sway bar right now, nothing holding it in, so it was a necesity
You do not need the sway bars on the rig after the OME unless you will be overloading your roof rack and taking corners like you are driving a sports car.

2 inch, they go by what level of lift you installed, the two lifts of course eing 2 and 4 inches, thus the extended links being the same
I see some for the front....what about the rear? (sway bar extened links). I plan to use a FJ62 sway bar for the rear. My axle housing has the bracket tabs and I have the other parts. Now it looks like I will need extended links for the front and rear..
Do you have access to a welder? It would be easy to cut the links, and slide them into a longer piece of tube and glue it all back together. THe rear links are totally different than the fronts.
I've got a friend who has a welder and a bunch of other stuff. There is a thread here somewhere about where a guy made up some extended links for the rear. I'll most likely get him to make me some. Yea I knew the front a rear were different. Did not know if anyone made some 2 inch extensions for the rear. I do plan on installing the rear sway bar and getting it to work correctly... at some point.
You can use grade 8 threaded rod to make the longer arms.

no worries dood, my 16 y.o. daughter knows that my cruiser is not meant to be driven like a honda civic, she loves the toughness of it, & understands the cruiser culture, which is why she wants my FJ62 as her 1st car
. I couldn't be happier, cuz now I have a reason to buy another cruiser!
