Anybody got any pics of OME 2.5" lift with 1" Mr. Gasket coil spring spacers on all four corners? Anybody have any comments or suggestions on these spring spacers? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Wife was running this setup. Liked this setup only problems was with 2.5+Mr. Gasket spacer streched one front shock to far & had to goto shocks for
J-springs up front. Oh & wifes running 35's. Since replacing shocks no issues.
My understanding is Mr. Gasket spacers are only for the front, none for the rear. Mr. Gaskets I used to get rid of a unlevel truck.
*If you want rear spacers, might have to give Christo a call.*

Nice flex on the cruiser! I am pretty sure you can use coil spring spacers on any corner of cruiser that is sagging or needs to be leveled out. I just want them for additional lift. I have my Hanna rear bumper which is built for a tank  , and does weigh a ton! My cruiser looks really even now no rack in the front, would do you guys think? Go with the spacers? To me it just seems like too much weight in the rear with my Medium 860's? Here is a pic of cruiser:

I understand what your wanting to do is give it back the lift you lost-we just went throught the same thing....J SPIRNGS, CASTOR PLATES...yada, yada!

I still think the Mr. Gasket spacers are only for the front springs "someone else chime in....." you may want to look again at Christo's rear spacers along with the Mr. Gaskets up front but I think then if you wheel hard enough & don't drop the bump stops you could strech a shock like we did???

the Mr G spacers only work on the front.

Fj60 you got the J springs though. Your springs are probably about 1" taller to begin with, right? I went to summit and there are 2 different Mr. Gasket coil spring spacers, one says front only and the other does not specify. You think you might be talking about the front only part #, cuz I am pretty sure you can use the other part # that does not specify for fronts only in the rear?

I think the other spacer is one that is made to fit in between the coils of the spring, instead of on top.

In the picture I was running 2.5 Med w/front spacers. Now we went to the J springs.
Part number I remeber is ##94...can't remeber the rest. The one I use went on top of the spring.

I just ordered my mr G 1 inch spacers for the front of my truck, justing trying to even things out a little and get rid of some of the "stink bug". I am running stock front and rear bumpers....for now. hoping the install shouldnt take too long. Any tips for putting the front spacers in?

Just use a spring compressor and slide the Mr gasket spacers on top, spacers have opening to where you don't have to take spring off, just compress. :)

If anything then, I guess I will just put a 10mm Trim packer in the rear, on my pic (in a above post) does it even look like the rear is sagging a little, what u guys think?

you don't need a spring compressor at all.

When I put mine in I had to diconnect the sway bar, where as when I put the springs in without spacers I left the sway bar on and only removed the shocks.

Use the jack to slowly lower the axle housing, rembmer to unbolt the clamp that holds the wireing on the drivers side.

BUT watch the brake lines! I had to un bolt the joint that bolts to the top of the axle housing so I wouldn't stress the line, it flexed the metal line alitle but no big deal.

Or just unbolt the shocks on top, and jack up the frame in the front, and slip them on .

why would you do all that when all you need is a simple tool and to put jack stands on the frame?

Now that seems simple. ;)

because it takes about the same amount of time. and not everyone has a spring compressor and think, you have to mount the spring compressor, tighten down, repeat on next side. VS swaybar bolts, one bolt on the brake line, one bolt on the drivers side, and if you know the trick, shock nuts are pie.

I think taking the tires off and putting it on stands took longer.

I had to use jack stands and an alligator. I also had to disconnect my swaybars and shocks, and remove my tires but no big deal. The whole thing was dirt simple once I got started and stopped trying to plan too much. I don't have a spring compressor, but I think that would be handy for extreme lifts. I instaled a 4" lift and found it necessary, even after all the disconnects and removals, to jump on the axles to buy the needed extra space that would allow my friend to slip the spring in.

So what's the little trick, I'm putting my suspension on this weekend?
