This came on my 55 when I first got it:

I took it off when we started painting the Pig. Mid-way through painting, we moved to a new house and the Pig will not fit in the garage w/ the rack on.

I think this rack looked pretty cool on the Pig, definitely looks "period-correct". Make no mistake, if you want to carry some heavy stuff, I would go with a Yakima or Thule rack, or other. If I were going to keep it I would probably powder coat in a pewter color.

When I took the rack apart, one bolt yielded :-(

Other than that, rack is okay. Just needs to be cleaned up and painted.

Comes with 3 cross-bars that mount to the rain gutters:

2 "side panels"

And 8 crossbars:

I am looking to get $100 + shipping.
Shipping from 80538. Not sure how much it would be to ship. I will have to stitch together packaging to ship, or do local pick-up.
I will get a shipping quote for interested party.

Thanks!

You might double check if that could be a factory Toyota roof rack. They were a bolt together knock down unit, check for metric bolts, came across one 20 years ago. I'm interested in it if it is. I can't open your images. Thank's, John

I do believe the fasteners were metric when I took it apart.

The images are not loading? I can reload them when I get home.

Let me know if there are any distinguishing markings on there that would clear up the origin of the rack. Factory pieces are cool!

I'm interested. I'd like to see the pictures that aren't loading and get a shipping quote to 30120. Thank you!

Can y'all see the images now?

I can see photo's now, I need to do some research tomorrow, it looks so be what I remember.
Pass this on to cooney if he wants it, as I would probably save it for a museum piece. John

Thank you! Let me know what your research turns up. @cooney - you are next in line.

I think you are right - factory accessory. After some digging I found a picture from some early literature:
