Found this digging through some old pics. From 1997. That's how the Smurf looked when I bought it. I still have the boat too. Not exactly the ideal tow setup but it worked ok.

i can't believe how long it's been since smurf looked like that. and i still remember when rick got his 40, and how pristine it was, too. they've both come a long way since then, for sure.

Whether or not it's improved is debatable. I sure wouldn't want to tow a boat with it now.
